Lincoln is a strong little man. He has never been a little boy but always been an old man. He is one of my beautiful nephews who I adore so much.

He has the most infectious smile and is always there for a cuddle. Being a typical boy he is obsessed with his cars, bikes and the item that is way up there is his prize possession being his work boots that are just like Dads (my brother Adam).

Lincoln is a very protective younger brother to my very sweet nieces Rhianna and Madison. But if anyone looks the wrong way to this boy his big sisters aren’t far away to be there for him.

Just thinking about him makes me smile. With the nickname of squishy I miss him tremendously and can’t wait to give him a cuddle next time I see him.

Mother’s Day – Viv

So with Mother’s Day coming up and we all know that our mums have everything why not get them a personalised frame filled with her children’s names. This is a little early and thank god my mum doesn’t visit online much so I hope I am safe with her not finding out what her surprise is but I am sure she will like the gift I have made for her.

I am blessed to have 3 gorgeous brothers, Adam, Quinton & Owen and all of our names do connect quite well but most names will connect and if not there are other ways of making them do so. For instance adding additional words such as family, love, mother, mum, their name etc.

Mother’s Day History

Origin of Mother’s Day goes back to the era of ancient Greek and Romans. But the roots of Mother’s Day history can also be traced in UK where a Mothering Sunday was celebrated much before the festival saw the light of the day in US. However, the celebration of the festival as it is seen today is a recent phenomenon and not even a hundred years old.

Thanks to the hard work of the pioneering women of their times, Julia Ward Howe and Anna Jarvis that the day came into existence. Today the festival of Mothers day is celebrated across 46 countries (though on different dates) and is a hugely popular affair. Millions of people across the globe take the day as an opportunity to honor their mothers, thank them for their efforts in giving them life, raising them and being their constant support and well wisher.

Mason is one of my gorgeous nephews who is turning one in the month of April. He has the most beautiful laugh and sweet smile you have seen.

What better way to celebrate his birthday then with his own personalised frame and probably a few other gifts in the bundle as well (us Aunts just can’t help ourselves – can we).

Mason shares his middle name with my dearly departed granddad Victor so what better way to pay tribute to that and showcase it in his nursery.

Thinking about that cheeky smile and contagious laugh while constructing Mason’s piece of artwork made me smile.

He is a joy to cuddle and to be with and the moments I do get to share with him are cherished.

Hope my brother and his wife love it as much as I do.
