So with Mother’s Day coming up and we all know that our mums have everything why not get them a personalised frame filled with her children’s names. This is a little early and thank god my mum doesn’t visit online much so I hope I am safe with her not finding out what her surprise is but I am sure she will like the gift I have made for her.
I am blessed to have 3 gorgeous brothers, Adam, Quinton & Owen and all of our names do connect quite well but most names will connect and if not there are other ways of making them do so. For instance adding additional words such as family, love, mother, mum, their name etc.
Mother’s Day History
Origin of Mother’s Day goes back to the era of ancient Greek and Romans. But the roots of Mother’s Day history can also be traced in UK where a Mothering Sunday was celebrated much before the festival saw the light of the day in US. However, the celebration of the festival as it is seen today is a recent phenomenon and not even a hundred years old.
Thanks to the hard work of the pioneering women of their times, Julia Ward Howe and Anna Jarvis that the day came into existence. Today the festival of Mothers day is celebrated across 46 countries (though on different dates) and is a hugely popular affair. Millions of people across the globe take the day as an opportunity to honor their mothers, thank them for their efforts in giving them life, raising them and being their constant support and well wisher.

So this one is a little different – I was requested to create a quirky piece for a lovely ladies birthday who loves the funny side of life. This come about from a lot of laughter about an Urban Dictionary search of her name – Rosie.
Rosie is also a fellow blogger – aredlipandanudeshoe.com. She loves all things fashion, beauty, travel and food + wine.
A person, usually a girl, who is extraordinary in every way, shape, and form. Her beauty surpasses that of any other girl in the world, for her beauty shines forth like a radiant sun. Her smile can light up an entire city for years it is so vibrant and beautiful. She is extremely sexy and beautiful even though she would never admit it openly. She’s the kind of person who is shy at first, but when you get to know her, you find she is cute, funny, silly and caring.
Whenever you see her walking down a street, you can see the angels that follow her with harps at the ready, for when she speaks, her voice is like that of an infinite number of harps being played by the most perfect angels found in heaven. Her love has no limits; her friendship extends even to those who have hurt her in the past. Every person who has met a Rosie just knows she will amount to something amazing in the future.
Her laugh and giggle is highly contagious to those around her. Be warned: if you fall for a Rosie, she will steal your heart, but do not be alarmed, for it is in the hands of an angel, and she will return the amount of trust and love you give her back to you, including the giving of her warm, loving heart.

Education Changemakers are Australia’s premiere education learning experience for passionate educators who are ready to step up in their leadership journey and create change in their school. They only employ facilitators who are former education leaders who have made change in schools.
With that being said my wonderfully talented, passionate friend Summer (@EduSum) has had the privilege of joining.
After seeing the way she talks about each and everyone in her team it was important to me to show how very proud I am of her and of course Education Changemakers.
With their corporate colours being the vibrant orange I have echoed this throughout their design.
As you can see all of the team connect with the company name and this was paramount when the layout was designed. This was essential as they all have qualities and achievements that boost one another.
